On October 14, 2008, we launched the first of many new languages! This is an exciting time for Club Penguin players all over the world.

If the penguin name you chose does not immediately appear under your penguin, it may be because you are playing on a world in a different language, or in an ultimate safe chat world. Your penguin name needs to be checked by our entire team to make sure it is appropriate for these servers. As soon as it has been approved, you will be able to see your name when playing in any world.

If your penguin was created before October 14 you can log into an English Standard Safe Chat world and your name will appear as normal. We hope you have fun waddling around on Club Penguin!
